Ragging-free Zone

An Anti-Ragging Committee, consisting of senior staff members, both male & female is all the time on watch to ensure that the campus is absolutely free of any activity relating to Ragging. Additionally, a Students Welfare Cell also is proactively operative to support the students and resolve their problems, if any, instantly.

Health Club & Tae Kwon Do Gym

The Health Club houses the latest physical training equipment and is managed by expert visiting trainers. The interior and the environment of the club are user-friendly. As an add-on, it has a dedicated Tae Kwon Do Gym, which has been a constant attraction for students aspiring to master this art of global fame.

Games & Sports Complex

A sprawling considerably large sports ground within the campus acts as a cutting edge to the extra-curricular activities for the sporting students of our own campus as also for those from other institutes in the region.

Adjoining the Reading Room an In-door Games Arena is too good to let our students keep off from various soft and brainy games. Girl students enjoy it at their best.

The campus has a controlled and well-protected Wi-Fi Network, which provides an uninterrupted Internet connectivity in & around the institute and the Boys’ Hostel.

Hostel

Gwalior Institute of Information Technology has substantially dedicated Hostels for Boys and Girls located in the town. It has a variety of choices for students to make for them. While conventionally, a room with all the amenities is shared by two students, a “Single accommodation” is also possible to opt for, at fairly enhanced rates. Similarly, though the rooms are Non-AC, yet the provision exists for both Air- Cooled and AC rooms on extra payment basis. It has dedicated staff for management, security and housekeeping; all under the Hostel Warden, who is directly reporting to the Board of Governors of the group. The discipline within the Hostel is no matter of concern at any time. Additionally, the vigil is maintained by the Admin staff and the Anti-Ragging Committee members to keep the zone Ragging-free. The Girls’ Hostel is in the vicinity of the Corporate Office of the group in the town area. The Girls’ Hostel Warden has full time availability, supported by dedicated staff for management, security and housekeeping. The Girl Hostellers are provided with to & fro College Bus facility for their classes. These buses are “all-female” ones, wisely staffed, keeping in view the safety and security of the girls. Both the Hostels are having the Mess facility, which conforms to the best quality and hygienic standards. Both the Messes have the add-on facilities for parcel meals, as the requirement may arise. To top it all, both the Hostels are priced at the most competitive levels.

Health Club & Tae Kwon Do Gym

The Health Club houses the modern & latest physical training equipment and is managed by expert visiting trainers. The interior and the environment of the club are user-friendly. Its location within the campus makes it easily accessible to both the hostellers and the day-scholars. Though it is available to all the students, yet there is a proper “control and recommend” protocol, followed by an assessment after a stipulated duration of the practice. The students attending the club are advised to maintain their diet and fatigue level as per the expert recommendations. An upgrade of the Health Club inventory and the skill level of the instructor are done on regular basis to keep in pace with the times and the requirements. As an add-on, it has a dedicated Tae Kwon Do Gym, which has been a constant attraction for students aspiring to master this art of global fame.
