As an integral part of the efforts to build awareness about the skill development for livelihood generation and to develop & strengthen the relationship with the corporate world, GIIT has a planned strategy to train and place Graduated students in prestigious organizations ensuring that their technical qualification is fully utilized.


As obvious, Training & Placement Cell has two inter-laced areas of functioning : -

Objectives of Training and Placement Cell

Training 


To guide and train the students in career planning, resume preparation, interview skills, personality development, aptitude tests and group discussions. Our Students acquire sufficient insight to the subjects studied as well as pedagogical insight to the practical knowledge, which is necessary for them to find employment suited to their abilities & skills.


Placement 


To help build a long–term career with leading organizations in the country & abroad. The college organizes placement drives, where in prospective employers are invited to observe demonstrations / presentations by the students and conduct on-the-spot interviews. Employers’ experts evaluate them and offer them suitable placements accordingly.


Placement Drive

 

The T & P Cell keeps close liaison with various corporate / industrial establishments of both private and public sectors, which conduct campus interviews and select students from all disciplines. The Cell provides the infra-structural facilities to conduct written tests, group discussions and interviews. The college pro-actively organises in-campus interviews for its students to get proper placement.


We are also entertaining the companies requests for the details of passed out students for employment by maintaining a Database of our students who have completed their degree.
Job offers, dates of interviews, selection of candidates etc. are duly communicated to the students right on time. The Cell serves to bring closer a job-aspirant and a prospective employer.


To enhance placements, the Cell is arranging Training Programs right from the first year till the final year with the help of reputed Government and Private Organizations. MOUs have been signed between the college and many reputed giants to provide required Training & placements.
